DataPOWA is a UK-based sports technology firm that delivers AI-driven, real-time sponsorship valuation for some of the biggest names in sports, including the Premier League, Coca-Cola, Manchester United, and more. The company was founded by Mike Flynn, a serial entrepreneur who had previously partnered with Ayruz during the acquisition of his earlier digital agency.


The Scenario
Taking a revolutionary idea from vision to market-ready product in a high-stakes, time-sensitive environment required flawless execution, deep expertise, and startup-level agility.
Mike Flynn approached Ayruz with a raw concept: to build a SaaS platform that could track, evaluate, and value sports sponsorship assets in real time using data and machine learning. The sports tech space was ripe for disruption, and DataPOWA needed to move quickly-ideate, build, test, and scale-all while maintaining enterprise-grade quality. The founder wanted a trusted partner who could act as a technical co-founder, enabling him to focus on growth and fundraising.


The Problem
The challenge was to bring a highly complex, Data-driven product to life within a constrained time frame and with zero internal tech infrastructure.
The product needed to be built from scratch: data pipelines, algorithms, a user interface, and scalable cloud infrastructure. Additionally, the team had to be recruited, onboarded, and managed efficiently without blowing up costs. The project called for strategic thinking, deep technical execution, and startup agility.

We iterated quickly, validating models and features in sprints, ensuring fast deployment cycles. We also built the long-term tech infrastructure to allow DataPOWA to scale globally.
Once launched, Ayruz continued to support DataPOWA with product maintenance, performance monitoring, and incremental innovation-helping them evolve from a startup into a multi-award-winning brand.
